Assistant Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning

Eric Johnson is a highly accomplished and dedicated strength and conditioning coach with a passion for helping athletes unlock their full potential. With over 7 years of experience in the field, Eric has honed his skills through a dynamic journey that includes personal training, an internship with a prestigious private training facility in Charlotte, NC, and a rewarding 5-year tenure as a full-time strength and conditioning coach at the University of Nebraska. Now an Assistant Director at Nebraska, he has embraced the challenge of working with a diverse range of sports teams, including Track and Field, Cross Country, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Tennis, Rifle, and even provided invaluable assistance to the Volleyball program. Eric understands that successful performance goes beyond just physical strength; it encompasses mental resilience, skill refinement, and injury prevention. Through his tailored training programs, Eric empowers athletes to excel not only in their respective sports but also in life.
