Jon Pfeifer

Assistant Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning

Jon Pfeifer, a dedicated and seasoned strength and conditioning coach, has been a driving force within the Nebraska Athletic Department since his arrival in the spring of 2014. Upon joining the Nebraska Athletic Department, Jon Pfeifer assumed the role of assistant strength and conditioning coach and was recently promoted to the Assistant Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning. His versatile skill set has allowed him to serve as the strength and conditioning coach for multiple sports, including wrestling, men's gymnastics, and women's gymnastics. Additionally, Jon oversees the internship program, nurturing the next generation of aspiring coaches. Jon's dedication to excellence extends to other sports as well. He has worked with men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, women's diving, and has provided valuable support to the men's basketball program. Jon's role within the athletic department is not limited to strength and conditioning. Since 2018, he has held the title of Director of Operations for the wrestling program. In this multifaceted role, Jon coordinates internal and external operations, manages team travel logistics, and oversees the organization of summer camps.
